DCD 5 News is a Distance Communication Device broadcasting station that focuses primarily on "informed, updated and reliable" news bulletins. They primarily cover news from Urushee, due to the disconnected nature of Erra post-Collapse, but have been known to report any significant or interesting headlines from different nations if they receive word of them, most notably Enphune.
The station is most well known for airing an exposé on the illegal activities of Dyffros Demolitions, which resulted in formal criminal investigations by the Authority of Srenluna, and the dismantling of the public facing front of the criminal gang.
DCD 5 News' coverage is the entirety of Urushee, and while plans to expand to other nations such as Ihhir and Thradill have been formed, little headway has been made so far. The main headquarters, and broadcast tower, for the network resides in Humigri, with smaller reporting stations in Srenluna and Drachmeer.
